Ikat Wool 7' x 9' Area Rugs

Inspired by vintage ikat and the abrash dyeing tradition, our Abrash hand-tufted wool rug features organic bands of color where hues gently shift and saturate across the surface. The cut and loop pile technique adds dimensional texture, while the design's timeless versatility complements both modern and traditional interiors.

Luminous ivory anchors a boldly structured Southwestern composition where large starburst medallions are framed by angular Greek key motifs and serrated diamond forms in soft teal, warm gold, and touches of brick red. The overall palette feels sun-bleached and serene, as if distilled from open desert skies. Extensive hand-finishing over a premium wool base yields a beautifully textured surface — simultaneously crisp in pattern and soft underfoot — with a gently aged quality that evolves gracefully over time.

Bold indigo fields anchor this striking Southwestern-inspired design, where repeating diamond medallions radiate outward against a warm ivory ground. Rich terracotta accents ignite the geometric border registers, while soft sky tones lend an airy balance. Each piece is power-loomed using premium wool yarns and receives extensive artisan hand-finishing — including meticulous hand-binding and a specialized luster wash — resulting in an heirloom-quality texture with exceptional softness underfoot.

A softly weathered ivory canvas sets the stage for an all-over field of tribal star medallions and cross motifs scattered across horizontal registers in fiery red, French blue, and warm gold. Chevron wave borders provide rhythmic structure while the open, airy ground keeps the composition light and livable. Crafted from premium wool with a meticulous hand-finishing process, each rug achieves a beautifully broken-in quality that feels at home from the first day forward.
