Inspired by traditional Fair Isle knits from Scotland. High-quality wool is washed before and after weaving to create an aged appearance. Wool is space-dyed to achieve the heathered Fair Isle look. Silk highlights are added for exquisite detailing. An ancient nomadic weave is hand-knotted in India using the Persian Senneh knot for casual, enduring beauty. After weaving the pile is sheered to a very low height for a vintage look.

Medieval silk brocade with influences inspired this saffron ground and amber tonal border. This handmade cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French pile weave. Knotted with a complex yarn made up of several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs. Has passed independent durability tests by the independent textile service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Use it with a pad.
