I have been looking at this rug for a very long time since receiving the Kit Kemp X Annie Selke catalogue. Finally I started my remodeling project and ordered the rug. It was just what I wanted, a casual and colorful wool rug for my dining room. When the 8X10 rug arrived it was folded inside heavy plastic. After opening the large package, I immediately went to the website and started a chat sharing photos and explaining how the rug arrived with very bad ripples and fold lines. I was sent information concerning how to deal with the problem such as rolling the rug, tying and letting it sit for a few days. That didn't work. I have been using weights on the rug and struggling with this problem for three weeks. The rug is somewhat better but two corners still flip up and there are still ripples. This traditional Kilim weave was borrowed from an antique swatch and interpreted in performance yarns in shades of orange, rose, turquoise, lime, tomato, and ochre. Stain- and weather-resistant , it was sustainably made from recycled water bottles using fair labor practices. Washable and perfect for high-traffic use in entryways, covered porches, and kitchens.
