Beautiful rug exactly as described. I purchased two. Have rich, vibrant tones of red and gold. The pile is thick and very good dense, hand woven in content - much like a Kazak or Tabriz. As an aside, Perigold was very customer friendly and orientated. These were not my first choice. I purchased two other rugs, but the colors did not work with my decor. The rug is beautiful and the colors match the room that it is in. I do wish that the picture that I ordered from was the same size as the rug that I ordered. This rug is interesting. The texture is odd similar to an old animal pelt or a wool sheepskin rug. It could work with certain decors and tastes. I’m late to review this but I think that’s for the better! This rug has served us well in a high traffic area with two big dogs. It’s been 3 years We’ve had it professionally cleaned once and shows no sign of wear and tear.
