It is a lovely rug, but the ripples and puches have proven impossible to flatten out. I’ve spritzed the rug with water and placed a heavy rug on top of it to weigh down the ripples. The colors online and the actual rug were very different. I was concerned the rug would be too dark and thankfully it was not. It is a beautiful rug, however, I did not receive it in a "roll". Rather it was folded and then rolled (which I understand is done on some rugs) and then secured with ropes. I had a really hard time getting the middle fold out and the indentations from the ropes.
