What the description does not mention is the lovely deep red and a country blue, (with a slight green tint), that accent the design. The curves in the pattern match a curvy, distressed chest with filigree work on the drawers, which is also in the entrance way. The background tan is lighter than what it appears in the pictures. The colors online and the actual rug were very different. I was concerned the rug would be too dark and thankfully it was not. It is a beautiful rug, however, I did not receive it in a "roll". Rather it was folded and then rolled (which I understand is done on some rugs) and then secured with ropes. I had a really hard time getting the middle fold out and the indentations from the ropes. At the end of the day, a great rug.. Sue. Naples, FL. Mon May 09 2022
