This is a truly beautiful rug. It is basically a tapestry, so it is not suitable for a high traffic area, as it shows every speck of dirt. It needs frequent vacuuming. The creases you see in photo have definitely relaxed and disappeared after several months. It is a perfect choice for a cottage motif, if you don’t mind that it will need some fussy tlc. The border colors are shades of grey. It looked dark green on my screen so I wanted to clarify. Also, this rug is absolutely not reversible, which is why I detracted a star from the review.
