This rug serves a purpose as a throw rug. Is it the prettiest rug I've ever owned? No but the quality is very good and the pattern is subtle. There are silk threads in this rug, so don't use the beater brush on your vacuum or you might end up with broken fibers - (that's true of any rug with silk fibers.... just a heads up).. Pamela.
