Love the rug. Smaller than 8x10, but was told in advance. My only disappointment is that the color was described as red, but I would call it rust. Does not blend with another rug in the room. I did not consider returning the rug, so I must be pleased. LOL. Anonymous. Tue Oct 07 2025

Colors are very muted, not what the upclose photos really indicated. The hand knotted yarn is very thick- I have never seen a hand knotted rug made with such thick yarn. But we are keeping it- the furnishings in the room will be right enough to offset the muted coloring.. Judy. Charlottesville, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026

Bold yet elegant, the Treasures collection is woven with hand-spun New Zealand wool. Primarily woven in subdued hues, these traditional designs offer a timeless elegance.

An absolutely stunning rug!!! The 9’x12” rug was as pictured and looks more beautiful in my living room than in the picture. Beware of ordering a small rug. I ordered a 2’x3’ rug after such a delightful experience with the large one. Big mistake. Instead of a full pattern oriental I got a bound piece of a larger rug. Horrible! I returned it So I give fewer stars to this vendor due to their bait and switch on the smaller size rug. The smaller rug (photo attached)was not as pictured in the listing. Linda. Terra Ceia, FL. The Golden Age Collection is made with a blend of worsted wools from New Zealand and Argentina, creating a soft, silky texture that feels heavenly beneath one's feet. The diverse palette of rich jewel-tone colors brings luster and elegance to these intricate designs.

We have several Samad rugs in our home and the golden age collection is simply the best! This was packaged well and shipped promptly. We would consider ordering another rug from Perigold in the future, however, their Bryne rug pads leave something to be desired. We ordered one with this rug and and it wasn't the correct dimensions, missing 2" x 6" on the width and length, respectively---despite clearly being sold as the desired 2' x 12'. Never mind that it was a wonky cut clearly tapering down the length side. It's clear Bryne runners seem to be made of leftover materials. We would not order another of those from Perigold and we're still awaiting to see how their customer service will handle the issue.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 03 2023
