[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Solo Rugs in exchange for my honest review. As a busy dad with zero interior design skills, I usually leave the aesthetics to my wife. But with this rug, even I can tell it's a winner. First off, it looks amazing. My wife called it a 'statement piece's and I think that means it makes the room look fancy without me having to understand why. It fits perfectly in the spot I picked out. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this rug is the reason we don't step on Legos as much anymore. It's durable and holds up to two cats and two kids. Between the kids spilling juice, my cats treating it like a personal racetrack, and me occasionally dropping some coffee, this rug has survived it all. It resists stains like a champ and is super easy to clean-which is great because I'm not exactly in top of vacuuming. Long story short, if you've got a busy family, pets, and questionable decorating skills like myself, this rug is a lifesaver. It looks great, holds up to the chaos, and makes me feel like I actually contributed to the house looking good. Highly recommend!. Nateo2_2975. Fri Jan 24 2025

The sharp geometric spandrels at the corners of the field also indicate Oriental influence in the design, as special Khotan weavers have been known to feature Buddhist and Islamic imagery in their rugs. Rug & Kilim

Across the spacious field, stylized floral rosettes and angular botanical motifs unfold within a carefully balanced lattice arrangement, creating rhythm, movement, and architectural clarity throughout the composition. The geometric drawing preserves the tribal sensibility of village weaving while maintaining the refined symmetry characteristic of sophisticated Afghani workshop carpets.Particularly compelling is the rug's unusual pictorial border treatment, which introduces a sequence of stylized human and animal-like motifs rendered in deep indigo and ivory against a richly abrashed crimson ground. These figurative elements lend the rug a rare narrative quality while reinforcing the strong geometric framework surrounding the field. Warm ivory and camel tones soften the richly saturated reds and blues, while subtle age-related wear and tonal variation create exceptional texture and atmospheric depth.

Each compartment and medallion features stylized botanical and geometric motifs, floral medallions, and angular vine elements, rendered with the rustic charm typical of tribal weaving traditions.A particularly striking feature is the rug’s strong contrast between the ivory field panels and the darker border, which frames the composition with intricate geometric rosettes and tribal motifs. This contrast heightens the visual rhythm across the rug, guiding the eye through its elaborate structure while maintaining a sense of harmony across the expansive field. Bakhtiyar rugs are celebrated for their bold geometry, durable construction, and narrative quality, often interpreted as stylized garden layouts symbolizing abundance and order. In the Iranian Province of Fars, small villages around the city of Shiraz constantly carpet-weave. Carpets from Shiraz resemble the common grandeur of all Persian rugs; however, because of the diverse nature of Shiraz due to events such as migration, rugs from Shiraz are occasionally similar to those from Qashqai, Khamseh, Basseri, Afshar, Abadeh and Luri. Regardless, Shiraz carpets still retain a sense of originality and distinctiveness since nearly all of them are handmade as opposed to being made commercially in factories. They are large, often coarse, use a fixed loom, possess symmetrical knots. One of A Kind Antique Authentic Qashqai Cheetah Pictorial Tribal Gabbeh Rug handmade 100%wool. All hand spun wool

Fresh, spirited, and above all, luxurious, the rugs of the Modern collection can invigorate a traditional room as gracefully as they can ground a more contemporary space. Chinese Deco Rug, Origin: China, Circa: Early 20th Century – Here is an exciting and appealing antique Oriental carpet – an antique Art Deco rug that was designed and woven in China during the early years of the twentieth century. Heavily informed by the aesthetic inclinations of the Art Deco period, this unique carpet is a compelling and thought-provoking example. A scalloped border of Blue encloses a Gold / orange sand field on this exquisitely subtle and restrained antique Chinese Art Deco. At first the field appears empty or open, but it is actually covered by a tone-on-tone design of scrolls and cloud-bands emanating inward from the outer edges. In their sinuous rhythms they echo the scalloped forms of the border and continue its visual effects across the carpet in a more subdued manner. This carpet testifies to the masterful design sensibilities of Chinese weavers as they made the transition into the modern world. The Art Deco movement had an outside influence on the world of art and design, and some of the most important qualities and characteristics of that movement may be found in this fine rug.
