This rug is interesting. The texture is odd similar to an old animal pelt or a wool sheepskin rug. It could work with certain decors and tastes. It is not soft underfoot but rater a corse wool which i suppose would be great for colder climates. all in all well made and with what loos to be good materials.. Trystan. Weston, VT. Nice rug very thin though. The colors and design is very lovely but will require a rug grip underneath it .we intend to use this rug along with a few others in our library and the texture and thinnesses will work very well if you intend on layering or overlapping with other rugs which is our intention to give our large space a more homey feel overall I would give this rug a good review it is a good price and the quality of it seems to be nice!. First of all, this rug is very, very, heavy! It took two people to move it in our house. Simply put, this rug is stunning. Super thick with no odd odors when I unrolled it. I love the way it feels when you walk on it and obviously so does my dog, Waylon. Lol. This pattern could work with several styles. My house is more vintageeclectic so it’s perfect. I’m late to review this but I think that’s for the better! This rug has served us well in a high traffic area with two big dogs. It’s been 3 years We’ve had it professionally cleaned once and shows no sign of wear and tear. We love the soft palette but now we are changing up our living room so this rug will soften our bedroom and I have another rug coming from wayfair to that has different colors.. James.
