This modern area rug is inspired by the nomads of Iran's Zagros Mountains, who originally wove Gabbeh rugs to keep warm on cold winter nights. Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and cotton, this brown neutral features subtle color variations and geometric motifs that add a touch of bohemian allure to your space. Its sumptuous pile is especially inviting in bedrooms, where you can pamper your bare feet. We recommend pairing this rug with a rug pad to keep it in place and help it lay flat.

The Timitra Collection is hand-tufted and crafted from 100% Indian wool. A refined interplay of loop and cut pile creates a softly sculpted surface, with precise clipping that reveals subtle dimension. Pattern emerges through variation in pile height rather than bold color contrast, allowing texture and contemporary design to take center stage.

Better than the pictures. Maddie. CA. Sun Jul 12 2026

Crafted with a sophisticated blend of Ivory and Silver, this hand-tufted rug features a striking deconstructed geometric pattern that seamlessly bridges the gap between modern art and home comfort. This tufted area rug elevates your floors with a design inspired by classic Persian patterns and traditional style. It's handmade in India from wool, so it's sure to stand up to daily use, while also being ideal for rooms with floor heating. We love how the geometric shapes in hues of blue, ivory, and red have enough fading for a lived-in look. Plus, the thick 0.5" pile is ideal for low-traffic rooms like the bedroom or nursery. To care for it, spot clean with a dry cloth or take it to your dry cleaning pros. And to keep it in place, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath.

This was a very smooth purchase. I was greeted with a very nice person on the phone who walked me through my purchase. I will definitely be buying more items from Perigold/Wayfair.. Barbara. Lexington, KY. Mon Oct 19 2026

One of our most popular original designs for almost a decade, the Malta Handwoven Wool Rug has a softly textured feel and subtle herringbone pattern. A designer and editor favorite, it's made entirely by hand. Its slightly weathered effect will lend a touch of coastal charm to your space.

Love the look of this rug, it feels soft, but is not cushiony. Definitely needs a rug pad to create a better feel below you, but its a good value. Great for those who own dogs and want something that will work for a bit without paying too much.. Holly. Placida, FL. Thu Oct 29 2026

The hallmark of any handsome home is a fine foyer - and you only need a few eye-catchers to make it pop! Set the tone on the floor below with this alluring area rug, timeless addition to your elegant abode. Made in India, it is tufted of wool with a cotton back. Though its hues of gray-blue and beige are cool enough to blend right in, an intricate Persian-inspired motif effortlessly draws the eye. After you've laid the foundation, head straight up to the ceiling to make your space shine with a polished chandelier gleaming overhead. Finally, for a display that adds a dash of distinction, set a stately wood console table against a blank wall; It's the perfect spot to arrange framed family photos, or simply catch keys and mail as you walk inside.

Make a bold statement in your contemporary space with this area rug. With its array of thin stripes forming a geometric display, this rug's modern look boasts beige and black hues to anchor your furniture. It's hand-tufted from wool with a high 0.75'' pile height that's just right for low-traffic areas, where it can cushion your feet – think bedrooms and offices. Although it comes with a cotton and latex backing, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath to keep it in place.

I love this rug and it was very affordable as far as rugs go. It is softer than another wool rug I’d purchased on here. It smelled for a few days and tufts of the wool just come out, the geometric lines aren’t as clean anymore. It arrived as pictured and I like it in my living room.. Anna. Wed May 06 2026

The romantic gestures of this traditional area rug are pure poetry for the floor. Aqua blue, navy and beige tones suggest a midnight garden, as crawling vines throughout the decorative border and field give way to white and gold flower petals in full bloom. The rug is very pretty but about 4 inches short on width and 3 inches short on length. We will keep the rug but those extra inches would have made the fit in our room much better. I ordered two of these runners. They appear to be more of a steel blue rather than a teal color as described. One is slightly darker than the other, so color may not be consistent. They are still nice and I will be keeping them.. Kevin. Pearland, TX. Wed Jan 21 2026
