Black & Taupe Hallway Runners

Like sun-baked ruins along the Mediterranean, the Sandstone Taupe rug exudes relaxed sophistication. A mellow taupe field sets the stage for watercolor washes of coral, aqua, and lavender—tones that feel both nostalgic and now. Painstakingly hand-knotted from hand-spun wool-viscose yarns, the rug marries centuries-old craftsmanship with a light-infused palette, promising to age as gracefully as the artifacts that inspired it.

Good quality construction. Very nice, soft colors, though the background taupe is somewhat darker than expected and there is more yellow/gold than expected, creating a warmer overall look. The weaving pattern has faded horizontal striping, similar to the very inexpensive rugs that are everywhere today, which makes it overpriced in my opinion. The dimensions are also off, not a lot, but enough that it doesn't work well in my space (9'1"x 11'9") but that length also includes a total of 3" of fringe which makes it too short for my room. It's hard enough to risk buying rugs online, but it's very frustrating when ACTUAL dimensions are not provided.. Patricia. Jacksonville, FL. Fri Jun 19 2026

This rug showcases a subtle and sophisticated interpretation of the traditional Oushak design. The base color is a light taupe or beige, creating a neutral and calming backdrop. The motifs, rendered in soft pastels such as pale blue, light coral, soft yellow, and hints of muted green, evoke a sense of tranquility. The central area features large, abstract floral elements that flow harmoniously, while the border, slightly more ornate, echoes these motifs on a smaller scale. The overall design has a weathered, antique feel, giving it a timeless and elegant appeal.

Very pretty rug with rich colors and high quality look and feel. I was looking to replace a jute rug for easier slide of chairs and this fit the bill perfectly.. Lee. Trussville, AL. Thu Aug 14 2025

Simple weave cotton warp and slubby jute weft adds visual and tactile texture to this low profile flat woven rug. Ideal for living room, entryway, kitchen and other high traffic areas. Reversible for extended life and beauty.

This Oriental rug features an intricate border along with eye-catching floral motifs inspired by classic Persian rug designs. It comes in rich, contrasting taupe and teal blue tones to complete this traditional look for your space. Handmade from wool, this indoor rug has a 0.63" pile height that's great for low-traffic areas like your bedroom or home office. Even though this rug has a cotton backing, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad sold separately to help keep it in place.

I ordered two of these runners. They appear to be more of a steel blue rather than a teal color as described. One is slightly darker than the other, so color may not be consistent. They are still nice and I will be keeping them.. Kevin. Pearland, TX. Wed Jan 21 2026

Make a bold statement in your contemporary space with this area rug. With its array of thin stripes forming a geometric display, this rug's modern look boasts beige and black hues to anchor your furniture. It's hand-tufted from wool with a high 0.75'' pile height that's just right for low-traffic areas, where it can cushion your feet – think bedrooms and offices. Although it comes with a cotton and latex backing, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath to keep it in place.

I love this rug and it was very affordable as far as rugs go. It is softer than another wool rug I’d purchased on here. It smelled for a few days and tufts of the wool just come out, the geometric lines aren’t as clean anymore. It arrived as pictured and I like it in my living room.. Anna. Thu May 07 2026

The Michael Amini Star Rug by Nourison presents a brilliant interpretation of modern design. Drawing inspiration from natural landscapes and architectural styling, these abstract rugs make a major statement through their dynamic interplay of fashion-forward color palettes and shimmering accents. Star is hand-tufted, using a cut and loop construction that creates a 3D effect, and is made from a luxurious blend of wool, lurex, and silk-like Luxcelle. Inspire calm with this abstract rug from the Michael Amini Star collection by Nourison. Its linear motif, presented in taupe and ivory, mimics the ebbs and flows of a hazy skyline, with subtle bursts of solid color designed to draw the eyes. Shimmering accents that shift with light create a sense of movement, adding a unique sense of depth to your living room or bedroom furnishings.

Absolutely stunning! We love this rug. To be honest, I wasn’t aware of the glittery accents - my fault for not reading more closely - but we really like them. We have a city view and feel like they echo the light from the buildings as the sun sets. It’s quite thick and dense - we aren’t getting a pad to go with it. Highly suggest.. Alice. Nyc. Beautiful, true black and pure white rug. The rug is thick and very cushioning feel to walk on. The pattern appears as a subtle stripe.
