This modern area rug is inspired by the nomads of Iran's Zagros Mountains, who originally wove Gabbeh rugs to keep warm on cold winter nights. Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and cotton, this brown neutral features subtle color variations and geometric motifs that add a touch of bohemian allure to your space. Its sumptuous pile is especially inviting in bedrooms, where you can pamper your bare feet. We recommend pairing this rug with a rug pad to keep it in place and help it lay flat.

It’s perfect! Soft no odor made the room almost complete!. Cheryl. Tulsa, OK. Mon Sep 14 2026

The Timitra Collection is hand-tufted and crafted from 100% Indian wool. A refined interplay of loop and cut pile creates a softly sculpted surface, with precise clipping that reveals subtle dimension. Pattern emerges through variation in pile height rather than bold color contrast, allowing texture and contemporary design to take center stage.

Better than the pictures. Maddie. CA. Sun Jul 12 2026

This tufted area rug elevates your floors with a design inspired by classic Persian patterns and traditional style. It's handmade in India from wool, so it's sure to stand up to daily use, while also being ideal for rooms with floor heating. We love how the geometric shapes in hues of blue, ivory, and red have enough fading for a lived-in look. Plus, the thick 0.5" pile is ideal for low-traffic rooms like the bedroom or nursery. To care for it, spot clean with a dry cloth or take it to your dry cleaning pros. And to keep it in place, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath.

This was a very smooth purchase. I was greeted with a very nice person on the phone who walked me through my purchase. I will definitely be buying more items from Perigold/Wayfair.. Barbara. Lexington, KY. Mon Oct 19 2026

The Collection, crafted in India, features New Zealand wool and a machine-made construction. Despite its machine-made origins, hand-carved details and a high/low cut pile create a visually appealing three-dimensional design. Worsted spinning adds a luxurious feel and enhances durability, while hand washing gives the rug a refined finish. The contemporary style, inspired by fine art and natural surfaces, showcases irregular layered patterns in gray, ivory, blue, beige, and red.

The hallmark of any handsome home is a fine foyer - and you only need a few eye-catchers to make it pop! Set the tone on the floor below with this alluring area rug, timeless addition to your elegant abode. Made in India, it is tufted of wool with a cotton back. Finally, for a display that adds a dash of distinction, set a stately wood console table against a blank wall; It's the perfect spot to arrange framed family photos, or simply catch keys and mail as you walk inside.

This rug features a classic and refined Oushak design, with a more muted and aged appearance. The base color is a soft, faded cream or beige, with an intricate medallion in the center that is outlined in soft greys and pale blues. The outer edges of the medallion gradually blend into the background, creating a smooth transition of colors. The border is a mix of soft terracotta and light grey, adorned with stylized floral and geometric motifs. The entire rug has a distressed finish, giving it an antique, vintage look while maintaining a sophisticated and calming vibe.

This rug is beautiful! There will be more than one of these rugs in my house. The colors are great. The grey isn’t overwhelming. Actually, it can easily read almost black. The rust isn’t aggressive. Beautiful! My favorite!. Sabrina. Waxhaw, NC. Mon Aug 17 2026

Make a bold statement in your contemporary space with this area rug. With its array of thin stripes forming a geometric display, this rug's modern look boasts beige and black hues to anchor your furniture. It's hand-tufted from wool with a high 0.75'' pile height that's just right for low-traffic areas, where it can cushion your feet – think bedrooms and offices. Although it comes with a cotton and latex backing, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath to keep it in place.

I love this rug and it was very affordable as far as rugs go. It is softer than another wool rug I’d purchased on here. It smelled for a few days and tufts of the wool just come out, the geometric lines aren’t as clean anymore. It arrived as pictured and I like it in my living room.. Anna. Wed May 06 2026

This exceptional rug exudes timeless charm with its Ushak-inspired motifs, elegant florals, and trendy color palettes. Crafted with premium wool-rich blend yarns, each rug undergoes meticulous hand-binding and a special finishing wash to enhance its unique luster.

The website color scheme and description of the rug were a very good match. The rug is an excellent addition to our renovations. It goes great with the toasted maple floors we put in and the semi contemporary/eclectic look we are creating.. Mark. Gainesville, GA. Mon Jun 15 2026

Experience the luxurious comfort and timeless charm that only hand-spun wool can provide, now with a refreshing twist of soft, luminous hues. Redefine your decor with Marietta Oushak and embrace the serenity of traditional craftsmanship in a modern world.

The rug is very pretty but about 4 inches short on width and 3 inches short on length. We will keep the rug but those extra inches would have made the fit in our room much better. I realize that this is a handcrafted item, but I can’t shake the idea that you are making money by literally shorting the customer.. Emily. Alexandria, VA. Mon Apr 20 2026

This Oriental rug features an intricate border along with eye-catching floral motifs inspired by classic Persian rug designs. It comes in rich, contrasting taupe and teal blue tones to complete this traditional look for your space. Handmade from wool, this indoor rug has a 0.63" pile height that's great for low-traffic areas like your bedroom or home office. Even though this rug has a cotton backing, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad sold separately to help keep it in place.

I ordered two of these runners. They appear to be more of a steel blue rather than a teal color as described. One is slightly darker than the other, so color may not be consistent. They are still nice and I will be keeping them.. Kevin. Pearland, TX. Wed Jan 21 2026

This exceptional rug exudes timeless charm with its ushak-inspired motifs, elegant florals, and trendy color palettes. Crafted with premium wool rich blend yarns, each rug undergoes meticulous hand-binding and a special finishing wash to enhance its unique luster.

The color are all soft color with a dominate of light gray. Muted golden, very light and small amount of turquoise and several dark blue almost black. The main complaint is the rug did not come on a roll, but folded. Leaving difficult bumps to remove when placed flat. If they do not relax I will return the rug. Otherwise I am satisfied with the colors and the quality.. Mary. Coppell, TX. Sat Jul 12 2025

Rugs in the collection are meticulously hand-knotted using a blend of premium wool and viscose yarns.

This rug appears a little more khaki than Brown. Otherwise, it is exactly as depicted. It appears to be a very nice quality rug, but not at the price of other high-quality rugs from other brands. I am very pleased with this purchase.. Janis. South Carolina. Sat Oct 18 2025

This understated indoor area rug sets an approachable and inviting foundation in any room. Hand-loomed in India from 90% jute and 10% cotton, this piece is well suited to sit in bedrooms and home offices thanks to its high 0.75" pile. Wherever you decide to roll it out, we recommend you lay down a rug pad underneath for extra cushioning and traction.

The rug is beautiful, and I loved the color — it’s exactly what I was looking for. However, I was expecting a better-quality finish on the material. I understand the rug is made of sisal and cotton, but the finishing could be more refined, or at least better represented in the online photos and description to set more accurate expectations. Even so, I decided to keep it because I liked the color, the price was reasonable, and it matched perfectly with the style of my dining room.. Tatila Maia Pereira. Miami, FL. Mon Apr 28 2025

Beautiful and soft. The colors are more subtle than expected and I love it.. Kim. Kansas City, MO. Sat Jul 25 2026

Like sun-baked ruins along the Mediterranean, the Sandstone Taupe rug exudes relaxed sophistication. A mellow taupe field sets the stage for watercolor washes of coral, aqua, and lavender—tones that feel both nostalgic and now. Painstakingly hand-knotted from hand-spun wool-viscose yarns, the rug marries centuries-old craftsmanship with a light-infused palette, promising to age as gracefully as the artifacts that inspired it.

Good quality construction. Very nice, soft colors, though the background taupe is somewhat darker than expected and there is more yellow/gold than expected, creating a warmer overall look. The weaving pattern has faded horizontal striping, similar to the very inexpensive rugs that are everywhere today, which makes it overpriced in my opinion. The dimensions are also off, not a lot, but enough that it doesn't work well in my space (9'1"x 11'9") but that length also includes a total of 3" of fringe which makes it too short for my room. It's hard enough to risk buying rugs online, but it's very frustrating when ACTUAL dimensions are not provided.. Patricia. Jacksonville, FL. Fri Jun 19 2026
