This hand-woven kilim features fine horizontal pinstripes in olive green and deep red across a warm rust-brown ground. The wool is woven flat at a low 0.25-inch pile height, giving a smooth, durable surface with a finely textured feel. Each rug is handmade over about 4 months, so slight variations in shade and detail are part of its character. With no backing, a rug pad is recommended to add cushion and keep the rug in place.
