Sadly the color of this rug is no where near dark brown, it's silver/ taupe, but there is no way to really know no matter how many different screens you view the color on and they don't offer a sample size. Then sadly, I had to return it and it cost me $150 + to return it because of the fees charged to return it, No matter how many beautiful rugs I find on Perigold, I will not shop here again based on this rather negative and costly experience..
