Colors are very muted, not what the upclose photos really indicated. The hand knotted yarn is very thick- I have never seen a hand knotted rug made with such thick yarn. An absolutely stunning rug!!! The 9’x12” rug was as pictured and looks more beautiful in my living room than in the picture. Beware of ordering a small rug. I ordered a 2’x3’ rug after such a delightful experience with the large one. Big mistake. Instead of a full pattern oriental I got a bound piece of a larger rug. Horrible!
