I was surprised at how nice this rug is. It is very soft, has nice muted colors, and really pulls my room all together. I ordered a custom sized rug pad online which gives it great cushion. I would say the photo is accurate. The navy blue, which is only a minor color in the rug, can also read as black in case you have black in your room. I have gold, gray, black, cream, and white so it really works for that color palette. There is also a bit of light blue which I am going to feature in my art work. Highly recommend!. Alesia.
