The Vintage Large Size Modernist Mid Century Modern Ecuadorian Art Rug is an exceptional hand-knotted wool piece from the 1960s. This rectangular rug embodies the bold, minimalist spirit of mid-century design with an allover abstract pattern of spontaneous, calligraphic lines. Thick dark strokes and looping ochre elements create a dynamic composition against a soft khaki field, offering a sophisticated earth-tone palette. Crafted in Ecuador with a 0.5-inch pile height, the durable yet supple textile serves as a statement piece of textile art. Its substantial dimensions and modernist aesthetic make it an ideal choice for contemporary living rooms or minimalist studies seeking a vintage look with geometric influences.
