The rare weaves: The collection draws inspiration from antique patterns. This collection is a nod to the history of Caucasian Armenian carpet weaving. Each rug is handmade using the nomadic style wool warp and wept foundation of high-quality Armenian wool. The designs hail from the western region of Armenia. The collection offers rugs in various sizes, each featuring vibrant colors and bold, archetypal designs. A triple cloud band medallion Armenian weave rug in a rich palette, this Lenkoran rug features three medallions containing S-shaped figures which are a mainstream Caucasian type. This rug was hand-knotted in Armenia of 100% wool using our rug weave which has a pile height of around a third of an inch.
