Tufenkian Foundry Dusk

Among our most opulent offerings, our Urban Fresco rugs are hand-knotted in India using a Persian knotting style. These rugs demand around 3000 man-hours to craft, from yarn dying to final completion. Meticulously constructed from a combination of wool and silk, the unique vintage appearance is achieved through an oxidation process, which results in the wool having a lower pile than the silk threads. This distinctive effect contributes to a well-worn and vintage motif.

Additional Features

Design Attributes: Hand Knotted.

Actual Size May Vary a Little: Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Cleaning and Care: Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
