• Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance, and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. Toulemonde Bochart rugs are not always single material. To reinforce the character of a pattern, to emphasize a line, it is possible to combine wool with viscose, for example. This play of materials then allows you to play with matte/glossy oppositions for more vibrant designs. Generally, viscose only appears as a flash of light, with little influence on the fragility of the carpet. It is the dominant wool that will make the carpet resistant and easy to maintain.
