With the Artopia rug, Florence Bourel signs here the most arty and personal of her carpets. Like a painter's palette, the rug is composed of abstract shapes, nonchalantly intertwined, in contrasting colors, supported by a mastic background. Its fully looped tufting gives the pile a special dryness and a vintage look that meets the expectations of an enlightened public.

Additional Features

Hand-tufted: The drawing is printed on a canvas and stretched over a frame. The threads are stitched into this canvas by a gun, either manual or electric to form the velvet. This velvet is shaved and inspected. The backrest is glued with latex to maintain the velvet, then protected by canvas or mesh. It takes approximately 3 days to tuft a rug, then 3 days for latexing and drying, and finally 4 to 5 days for all the finishing touches.

The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent and plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years. Professional washing every 2 years. It is recommended to rotate the carpet twice a year.
