We purchased this rug in March 2024. By summer 2025 the rug was coming apart on spots. The yarn basically breaks apart, which then spreads. Today in the places where our feet hit the rug, we have spots up to 3 inches square uncovered by yarn. Contrast this with the wool rug under or dining room table, which has no broken yarn after 10 years of use. By far the worst area rug we have ever purchased. A huge mistake on our part.
