• Everyday care: to clean, use a powerful vacuum. As this carpet is made with natural materials, do not be concerned if pile shedding occurs initially. Shedding will end when vacuumed regularly.
• Why is pile shedding possible in carpets made with natural raw materials? Natural fibers such as viscose, wool, and silk can vary in length and are sheared for an even finish. Pile shedding occurs when short fibers cannot be sheared out of the carpet, which is inevitable in carpets made with natural materials. Shedding will end with regular vacuum cleanings.
• Stain removal: if a spill occurs, act fast! Use a spoon to remove as much of the excess spillage as quickly as possible.
• Pat the stain dry with a clean cloth in the direction of the pile. Wait until the area is completely dry.
• Make sure nobody walks on the treated rug surface for at least 24 hours. Never use soap or detergents, which have high chemical substances.
• Professional cleaning: have your rug professionally cleaned by a carpet care company that specializes in handmade rugs
