The inspiration for the Egyptian collection is derived from Mamluk carpets, a style developed in Cairo by the Turkish Mamluk Dynasty. Comprised of bold geometric shapes such as medallions and hexagons, octagons, and squares, this stylized collection consists of complex patterns adapted in an ornamental fashion.
