In the floral motifs of Kalahari Crest, interior designer David Easton pays homage to the vegetation he so admired while traveling through Africa’s Kalahari Desert. Although it is very dry, parts of the desert (which spans most of Botswana and part of Namibia) receive erratic rainfall that produces flora and fauna and seasonal wetlands. Offered in two warm colorways blending soft yellows and rusts, the design incorporates flowers into a subtle stripe that will complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.  Kalahari Crest is a sheared Peshawar carpet hand-knotted in Pakistan of 100 percent vegetable-dyed wool.
