Very disappointed in this product. The vendor said this was it would be the answer for a oriental carpet over a rug. It puckered up even as we were putting down the oriental carpet, and got nothing but worse as we walked on it. We have a dining room set on top, But the area we walk on is now raised and rippled. I don't advice this rug for use as a carpet on top of a carpet.

I recently purchased Nature's Grip Eco-Friendly Non-Slip Rug Pad (0.125"). I had hoped to use it under my 5 x 7 cowhide rug. However, I was disappointed that it was too small—for my rug, even though I carefully followed the sizing guidelines. I appreciated that the pad was well-made and had a nice, eco-friendly feel. However, it didn't fit properly, so I planned to cut the rug pad to fit under the organic shape. I am having trouble returning to Perigold. So, double-check your measurements before purchasing.

This is a nice lightweight rubber and jute. We've used ours for years under rugs and it works great at an economical price.
