Hand-knotted in a special blend of Ghazni wool, this rug from the custom-classics Burano Collection by Rug & Kilim is inspired by antique and vintage tribal rug designs. On the Design:A chocolate brown field underscores a repeat of circles and what appear to be geometric patterns, though admirers of the craft will recognize these to be nomadic interpretations of the paisley floral pattern in traditional rugs. The surrounding borders are underscored by rich saturated red and cream tones, with blue and gold accents keen eyes will note in the floral scroll, ram’s horn meander, and other archaic patterns at play. captures the eye with a union of geometric designs, traditional motifs & floral patterns in red, beige-brown, cream, green and orange colors—a depiction of old-world culture and rustic charm exemplary of this collection’s look at the most important histories of folk art. The use of Ghazni wool further lends a particularly soft, comfortable texture and tactile beauty to the design. It’s one of many intentional, personal contributions to a traditional aesthetic for a more contemporary level of comfort, and one of the many beauties that makes this collection a sophisticated, smart new language in design..Custom Capable:All sizes and colors available—inquire for a quote.Custom Projects: The pricing for our rugs is calculated on a per-square-foot basis and applies to the standard sizes noted.
