Handwoven in wool and hemp, this contemporary rug is an exciting new addition to the “Natural” line of flatweaves in Rug & Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection—a contemporary reimagining of Swedish minimalism and vintage rugs and textiles of Rollakan and Rya traditions. On the Design:This particular Kilim enjoys geometric patterns in stripes of white and black over beige-brown tones. Both the subtle, textural beauties and warm, impressionistic look made by this play of earthy colors bring a new element to Swedish Modernism—a warm, very beachy and soothing, sophisticated look to the mid-century modern style. Admirers of the craft will further note the use of hemp as a natural fiber lends a more sustainable, eco-conscious element with green design in mind. Our modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. Overall, it makes for a comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic that both innovates and honors mid-century Scandinavian rugs.Custom Capable:All sizes available—inquire for a quote.Custom Projects: The pricing for our rugs is calculated on a per-square-foot basis and applies to the standard sizes noted.Custom sizes are offered
