Hand-knotted in wool, this 18x31 Scandinavian palace rug features beige-brown and taupe tones in geometric patterns, namely a grid of squares and stripes inspired by the Swedish minimalist and deco sensibilities of this aesthetic. On the design: Admirers of the craft may admire the movement of the neutrals which has a playfulness to it, almost giving the feeling of a patchwork, as these smart rollakan-style pieces like to do. It’s as comfortable a solid choice as it is a smart, exciting one—a breath of history and culture for the modern home. Connoisseurs may admire this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style. A quiet & elegant piece with unparalleled tactility, amply versatile to complement interiors of different styles. The design of this piece makes it inherently easier to resize to one or more smaller pieces upon request.
