This rug from the Modern Classics Collection by Rug & Kilim is from a new line inspired by antique Oushak rugs. Hand-knotted in wool & sari silk, its design enjoys polychromatic patterns on gold. On the Design: The rug is overdyed in particularly beautiful, rich and saturated colorways. Its pile is made with a new yarn Josh Nazmiyal is introducing, which has a notable weight and sheen to it in thoughtful colors seldom seen in this style. The weaving technique complements the rustic, old-world look of the pattern with a fabulous new sensibility and texture.
