Hand-knotted in wool and silk, this contemporary Moroccan style polychromatic rug features a ribbed texture inspired by boucherouite textures. On the Design: Connoisseurs may admire the subtle appeal of the rug that comes from a Berber geometric design playing comfortably in a polychromatic colorway – idyllic to the Moroccan lineage of rugs. The piece innovates in design with modern geometry recapturing tribal aesthetics in a well defined primitive pattern for a clean contemporary look while maintaining cultural inspiration. Keen eyes for detail will further admire white underscores, a colorful series of geometric patterns in the all over style, inspired by primitivist Berber tribal motifs. While much of its beauty lies in the polychromatic nature, there’s an especially present, bright blue and red in the many playful accents at work. A gracious carpet with a cultured personality, well suited for a wide array of decor possibilities.
