Made with hand-knotted wool, this 6x7 contemporary rug from Rug & Kilim's custom-classics Burano Collection is inspired by antique rugs. On the Design: Admirers of the craft will note this modern Kurdish style rug’s colorway of peach, gold, red, white and brown tones and complex interpretation of a classical pattern with alternating patterns. Keen eyes for the tactile will further admire an especially soft, comfortable texture and beauty inherent to the wool that underscores this piece. It’s an intentional contribution to a classic for a more contemporary level of comfort, and one of the many beauties that makes this collection a sophisticated, smart new language in design.
