Made with hand-knotted wool and silk, this 2x3 gift-sized abstract rug is an exciting new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Modern Collection. On the Design: A play of cool and light cream, beige-brown and navy blue tones underscores an all over pattern in painterly, splash-like geometric patterns. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note a subtle high-and-low texture married to the patterns, which lends a tasteful sense of depth and dimensionality few rugs of this accent size enjoy. It’s an expressive, yet tasteful and smart piece, with a versatile size with vast design applications in narrow spaces, entryways, bathrooms, and even wall-hanging projects welcoming its artful sensibility.
