Hand-knotted in wool, this 12x15 rug is inspired by antique English Axminster rugs, reimagined in a playful contemporary with especially delicious yarns and unexpected colors. On the Design: Cream and beige tones underscore a Greek key border and a field of floral patterns, enjoying particularly muted hues of red and green in sprays and scrolls—drawn with the particular European sense of impressionist beauty that almost evokes a Neoclassical quality, an impressive feat for this scale. Admirers of the craft will admire this design not only for its particularly versatile size, but also some of the most delicious, bright colors of any homage to this style from our curations of light—a particularly whimsical take on the regal, elegant European aesthetic.Custom Capable: All sizes and colors available—inquire for a quote.
