Handwoven in wool, this 12x16 Kilim represents a new boucle-like texture, from an inventive new contemporary flat weave collection by Rug & Kilim in their Modern and Textural rug collections. On the Design: Beige-brown and earth tone hues underscore a finely woven series of geometric patterns, with subtle hints of orange and white manifested dexterously by handweaving high quality wool. Admirers of the craft will note the way this intricate style achieves such a look both deft yet livable, and exemplifies this new texture’s very contemporary-meets-comfortable appeal for today’s home. Our flatweave construction further enjoys a heavier body with greater durability than other handmade Kilims of this rare large size; a smart, versatile option for designers who enjoy meticulous craft, gracious scale, and cozy colors.
