Made with hand-knotted wool, this contemporary gift-sized rug represents the Chinese Art Deco rug collection by Rug & Kilim—inspired from the 1920s Chinoiserie style period pieces of the most elegant sensibility. On the Design:This contemporary rug recaptures the Chinese Art Deco rug style of the 1920s with elegant floral patterns similar to dynastic rugs of prior eras. It hosts a gray field making an amicable ground for the florals in sky blue, brown, green, and cream tones. The thoughtful palette demonstrates the color sensibility that made Chinese Art Deco carpets particularly sought-after for cosmopolitan interiors throughout Europe and America during the 1920s and 30s. Admirers of the craft will appreciate a subtle refinement in the texture, detail, and adaptation of this look in a current high-end quality of this rug. It’s a thoughtful piece that reimagines both the elegant and whimsical beauties in the Jazz Age weaving era, and a recreation of the iconic look one seldom sees in this versatile scale—a tasteful small-size piece with vast design applications in kind.Custom Capable:All sizes available—inquire for a quote.Custom Projects: The pricing for our rugs is calculated on a per-square-foot basis and applies to the standard sizes noted.Custom sizes are offered
