Hand-knotted in wool and silk, this 9x12 modern art deco rug is in one of our most luxurious modern constructions adapting 1920s cubist sensibilities On the Design: Connoisseurs may admire this piece with rippling geometric patterns in creamy white and beige tones, an all over repeat and a particularly gorgeous and smart piece in its subdued nature—the very definition of subtle yet elegant, a sophisticated yet comfortable choice for any space in its large size, sense of scale and refined beauty overall. Admirers of the craft will appreciate the sense of movement and dimension this subtle detail lends the piece—a look of layers to the all over pattern that lends an almost optical illusion to the eye. It’s an inventive use of subdued elements, yet still a smart and comfortable choice of soothing repetition and rich, comfortable pile made in one of the finest partner looms in our craft today.
