This vintage 2x13 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from mid-century Turkish designer Zeki Müren.Further on the Design:This distressed piece enjoys natural fluidity in pattern with brick red and sage green medallions on a beige background. Connoisseurs may admire this piece among examples of Müren’s classic influences, and how naturally the design and rustic colors play with the distressed texture. Keen eyes will further note fine black and gold detailing in the deft hand behind this piece – one of the seldom-seen extra-long runners of this artist’s curations. A gorgeous mid-century design in otherwise good condition for this shabby elegance lineage, worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
