From Rug & Kilim’s mid-century Pasha collection, a 1970s vintage rug celebrating the works of a bold designer from Turkey. Exemplifying the artist’s unique take on Turkish Deco sensibilities, this rare signature piece from the artist enjoys an all-over honeycomb lattice pattern in joyful tones of green, beige, blue, red & brown with subtle distressed elements idyllic to the collection. Hand-knotted in a low-sheared wool pile achieving this textural effect, a 2'10" x 3'7" gift-sized piece, perfect for places yearning for an exclusive collectible of presence. In good condition with more subdued distress than many carpets of this shabby elegance lineage. Connoisseurs may note the signature in the upper field, likely remarking both the collaborative loom and the year of origin—both lending to this piece’s collectibility among the rarest works of this weaver and period.
