Depicting an attractive pictorial representation of classic Chinese temple and floral imagery, a vintage 8'8" x 11'4" art deco style piece from rug and kilim’s coveted antique and vintage collection. Hand-knotted in healthy, lustrous wool circa 1950-1960, the rug depicts an oriental hut, a pond, and flowers growing in vivid shades connoting a unique 1920s style with subtle, pervasive rarities in the border’s departure from the traditional style. This portrayal is delicately encased in a golden frame with floral corners for an exalted transitional take on this vision, promising to age beautifully in good condition for its age and origin. A unique drawing fit to be a conversation starter, ideal for spacious projects.
