This hand-knotted afghan pictorial rug depicts a finely woven abrash black and gold dog design in silk-like, luminous goat hair. Borderless throughout the field design to the guard, the pictorial dog features brighter, more iridescent golden-yellow colorways in elegant, classic contrast to the bold black background, accented by the plush quality of the goat hair to create a realistic texture complementing the design.
