Handwoven in wool, this square Kilim is from an excitinG new custom-capable flatweave collection. On the DesiGn:“Rez Kilim” represents a contemporary homaGe to Turkish and Persian panel-weavinG styles in a textural approach to minimalist ruGs. This piece enjoys a play of cream white and black tones, underscored by beiGe-brown accents in the weft and stitchinG between the panels (or columns). Admirers of the craft will appreciate the way the fundamentals of a traditional flatweavinG style have been reimaGined in an almost impressionistic look at Geometry, ribbinG, and the subtleties of a Kilim.
