Hand-knotted in wool and silk, this 2x3 Moroccan rug features geometric patterns inspired by primitivist Berber weaving traditions and same ribbed texture drawing on Boucherouite sensibilities. On the Design:Connoisseurs will admire that this design has been inspired by caucasian tribal rugs with geometric patterns and subtle pictorials, such as the depictions of camels among the geometry here—a depiction of old-world culture and rustic charm exemplary of this collection’s look at the most important histories of folk art. Expressing a sophisticated language in design, a smart piece of cultured air and contemporary comfort alike. This is a smart marriage of joyful color and pattern embodying comfort and whimsy few mid-century modern rugs of this versatile size enjoy.
