Hand-knotted in wool and silk,. On the design: Connoisseurs will admire that this rug is made with a new yarn Josh Nazmiyal is introducing, which has a notable weight and sheen to it in thoughtful colors seldom seen in this style. The weaving technique completes the old-world look of the pattern with high quality construction. The design is complementary to the rustic, old-world charm and transitional whimsy of Oushak rugs that distinguishes them from other, more traditional Oriental rug provenances. In this piece, gold and beige-brown tones underscore floral patterns in light blue and brick red throughout the field and border alike - lending to the aesthetic appeal in a way that only Oushaks enjoy.
