This vintage 3x3 square rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.Further on the Design:This industrial art Deco rug enjoys a dextrous geometric pattern and a most unique employ of chartreuse green in its colors. Keen eyes will admire beige, brown, and even polychromatic accents to an otherwise soothing repeat. Connoisseurs will admire this collectible design as an exemplar of Müren’s mid-century take on Art Deco styles, so ahead of his time.Further on the Condition:This rare mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby elegance lineage. Ready for the floor, and especially well-suited for sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics.Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
