This vintage 4x7 rug is an exciting new addition to ’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970. Further on the Design: This particular Art Deco rug exemplifies Müren’s talent for recapturing iconic classic styles in his own mid-century style. Its design plays with superimposition and geometric patterns in bright primary colors atop a field of chartreuse and black. The whole feel is like a playful interpretation of modern art, and evokes a similar sense of depth. That unusual marriage of playful attitude and artisan sensibility is where Müren thrives, and why several of his works were so ahead of their time. Further on the Condition: This vintage Art Deco rug further enjoys good condition with a healthy, full pile—a rare trait in collectible Zeki Müren rugs.
