Handwoven in wool circa 1940-1950, a rare vintage kilim rug originating from Turkey carrying rich mid-century aesthetics. Second to none in collectible tribal inspiration, this 2x5 flatweave witnesses a marriage of hook and horn motifs & chevrons in deep purple, blue & red colorways with black accents for a beautiful visual allure. The dual presence of crimson red and a bordeaux red has a tasteful distinction among tribal Kilims further accompanying the shabby elegance style with minimal distress. Relishing a natural sense of movement, a rustic piece worthy of discerning projects.
