This vintage 4x7 rug is a new addition. The line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. This particular design exemplifies Müren’s talent for recapturing a wide range of aesthetics in his own mid-century style. Connoisseurs may observe a French art deco sensibility in its sharp geometric patterns and lattices in field and border. Keen eyes will further note subdued light-green accents with the beige-brown and admire the subtle distinction it lends. One seldom sees this style with such a neutral, cozy presence, and it speaks to Müren as an inventive student of his craft. Further on the condition: This mid-century art deco rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this provenance. Keen eyes will note the pile has been lowered, and admire the Shabby rlegance, distressed look it lends the piece.
